Negative Side Effects of Snoring

  If you snore while you sleep, you are actually depriving yourself of good, restful sleep. In addition, your partner may also be sleep deprived since they are kept awake from your snoring.


Short Term Problems From Sleep Deprivation

A sleep deprived person will be less alert and will have decreased performance levels. Feeling sleepy all day will reduce your memory and your thinking will become slower. For couples, lack of sleep on a regular basis will result in relationship problems due to anxiety, bad tempers, and mood swings.

A person that is sleep deprived on a regular basis may lead to occupational injury since the person is not completely alert on the job. Sleep deprived drivers are more cranky, impatient, and bad tempered while driving. Statistics have shown that sleep deprived drivers are more likely to get into car accidents.

  For anyone of us who has to live with a partner that suffers from heavy snoring will testify to it being no laughing matter. Lack of sleep has a knock on affect on our performance throughout the day and can lead to strains within a relation. Why Women Snore?

  When it comes to the view of snoring interfering within a couples marriage, the first thought is that the husband is the one snoring away sound asleep, while the wife is constantly being awaken throughout the night. But there has now been more resent research that paints a completely new picture from the traditional male snoring infringements in the bedroom. To our dismay, studies are currently showing that it is the women doing the heavy snoring more often than not, while there are higher numbers of men finding themselves upon the suffering end of the situation.


Given that there are still numerous amounts of men that fall on the side of being heavy sleepers anyway, this just may be as for why some of them are less bothered by their wives snoring, with the exception for those light sleeping husbands.
